"if music be the food of love, play on." Shakespeare, Twelfth Night
below are just a few of MANY music projects I've worked on, am working on, and/or plan on working on. i'll try and keep this page as updated as possible, as music seems to be progressively taking over my life. i'll continually post my random and work in progress projects near the bottom. visit this page regularly to see what i'm up to! if you want to take on any mixing/re-mixing projects using any of the audio below, shoot me an email and i'll get you the necessary files. i would also appreciate any constructive criticism, as harsh as it may be.

So Weak, So Strong by Joseph Ahern
This song was the first composition I wrote during my freshman year at Syracuse University. At the time, my equipment included an M-Audio keyboard that I permanently borrowed from my brother's friend and a sub-par Sterling Audio condensor microphone. With the support of friends and family, I was able to sell this track as my first single on iTunes. Hopefully, in the future, I will be able to re-mix the songs listed below so I that I can further my career as a poorly paid musician.

So Weak, So Strong

Tobacco Bandits
The Tobacco Bandits started in my junior year of high school. It is/was, essentially, a jam band with my two good buddies, Luke and Ryan. After playing for a while, we used the same crappy microphone (I've since upgraded) that I used to record So Weak, So Strong to record songs that we'd come up with while messing around. We learned quickly that using one microphone to record an entire band, including drums, was not the easiest of tasks. If only I had the knowledge I possess now regarding studio recording would I have instantly suggested we invest in something a bit more practical. Regardless, we enjoyed hanging out and writing these songs, so I hope you enjoy them as well. While the recording quality isn't the greatest, we hope that in the future we will be able to sit down and re-record them. Come summertime, I'm sure we will add more songs to this list. Enjoy! (Songs listed in no particular order and ignore my obvious obsession for Dexter.)
